I’ve loved the Mets since I was a little kid. My Grandpa and I would watch every game together and we would talk baseball for hours on end. I’ve never stopped loving this team but this season has been a complete and utter dumpster fire. Blowing a big lead to the Yankees like they did and now Smith gets tossed for a sticky substance is just another black eye to this team. Something needs to change because this team shouldn’t suck this bad and be this embarrassing!

Buck Showalter needs to go ASAP along with Heffner, and Barnes. This underachieving team has looked inept all year long in every aspect of the game. Buck has looked inept, lost, and completely disinterested. The dreadful and nonsensical lineups have turned a season with hopes of a World Series title into a team with sub .500 record. There is no energy and urgency with this team and it all starts with our teams poor management on the field. What are your thoughts?

I’m an eternal optimist but this team has zero chances of going anywhere unless they make some drastic changes. This team is lifeless, inept, and poorly managed. I’ve been watching the Mets for almost 40 years and this is one of the most unwatchable teams I’ve ever witnessed. Drastic changes need to happen fast or this season is OVER and done.

It really is sad to see how much this team continues to fail over and over and have no energy or sense of urgency to get better. Buck sends out the same garbage lineup over and over with the same befuddled look on his face after the team fails each game. It’s truly sad to see how bad this team has got so fast. Rant over!!!!!

What a performance by Joey Lucchesi in his MLB return going 7 innings with no runs allowed , 4 hits, and 9 strikeouts after returning from Tommy John surgery! This kid has some great stuff and really has the stuff to be a force for the Mets!!!

Tonight’s lineup for game 2 of this tough series against the Dodgers. I understand Kershaw is a LHP and Buck is starting Escobar over Baty for that reason. In my opinion, these prospects need to get repetition and Buck needs to stop his loyalty to fledgling veterans.

This has been Buck’s downfall so many times in his managerial career and I hope sooner than later we get Vientos and Baty in the lineup rather than Escobar and Vogelbach all the time. What are your thoughts?
