If there’s a mirror…I’mma find it. 🪞

The Starling is a social bird often seen in coordinated patterns. This hotel’s name is symbolic of the vibrant community and lively individuals who visit the area. That’s intentional, which I appreciate. And it happens to be pet-friendly, which I love. 🐶Customer service was wonderful and the location being smack dab in the city is uber convenient.

From the decor and style to the amenities, this stay stayed with me long after Prince and I checked out.

Over the years, I've learned (and am still learning) that food and what goes inside the body affects it expeditiously. For great output, you need great input. To build muscle, you need protein. To aid digestion, you need fiber. To keep your heart pumping properly, you need the right healthy fats.

Now, this is a super simplified way of thinking about these components of a balanced diet, but hopefully you get what I'm trying to say. And if not, stay with me because it'll make sense. Just let me cook. 😉

Sooo, you know that moment you’re in the store, deciding whether or not to buy the outfit just because it’s cute? 🥹

Keep this is mind:

✅ Is it comfortable to wear?
✅ Is it durable?
✅ Is it practical?
✅ Will you actually wear it more than once?
✅ Does it fit you properly?

If you answer “NO” to most of these questions…then BACK ON THE RACK it goes.

Remember, tall ladies, most “off-the-rack” items aren’t made for our measurements. Unless you have a seamstress or tailor, think twice about investing in the outfit. 😉
