DS Muzik Productions Productions, songwriting and performance. We are DS Muzik Productions located in Pleasant Grove, Alabama, but no stranger to the world at large.

We produce, perform, write and arrange all styles of music. We are music lovers and believe that cannot be boxed to just one style. We are currently looking for new artists that want to work on independent projects, demos, or albums. We have been able to work with an array of local and industry artists such Valerie Smith, William Murphy III, Kevin Lemons, Ricky Dillard, Wess Morgan, Leon Timbo, Alexis Speight and many more.

Birmingham, TODAY is the day!

Matcha Mondays — R&B Block Party (R&B Tour Pregame) is happening RIGHT NOW in the heart of historic Fourth Avenue District at the iconic AG Gaston Hotel — and it is completely FREE with early RSVP. Doors open at 4 PM and the vibes go until 8 PM tonight.

Curated by Kendra Woodfin and presented by Alicia's Coffee x Voltron Printing, this is more than just a Monday evening out. Special Guest DJ Mars will be on the ones and twos keeping the energy right all night.

Sunday was one of those days I'll be talking about for a long time.

It started at 5:00 PM at Christ Temple Deliverance Church with Bryant Woods & Voices of Victory for The Gospel Extravaganza. We had the honor of welcoming the legendary psalmist Lisa Knowles-Smith as the honorary guest — and I had the privilege of accompanying her. She is absolutely amazing. To sit at the keys behind someone who carries that kind of anointing and musical resume... it's a reminder of why I do this work.

Then the evening took us to the BJCC for Hezekiah Walker's Choirfest — A Night of Gospel Choirs & Honors. Bishop Hezekiah Walker brought together some of the most powerful voices in gospel music to honor Bishop Kenneth H. Moales Sr. and Grammy Award-winning Kurt Carr. The performances were extraordinary — Bryant Woods & Voices of Victory, David Walker & High Praise, E. Tony Gaines & Victory, Tiunna Lemons and Higher Calling, Kevin Styles and Psalms, Jeremy Hill & Remnant. Choir after choir, the spirit in that room was undeniable.

Evenings like this remind me of the legacy we're all building on. Gospel music as we know it — this blend of sacred message and soulful expression — traces back to the Father of Gospel Music himself, Thomas A. Dorsey, born in 1899. He pioneered something that has touched generations, and last night you could feel every layer of that legacy in the room.

Birmingham showed out. I'm grateful for every note, every moment, every collaboration. God is good.
