But what if it doesn’t have to be that way?
I spent years believing that feeling drained, foggy and out of sync most mornings was just something women over 40 had to accept, especially as I started hearing all about perimenopause and “just part of getting older.”
Here’s the truth: I was tired to my bones. I woke up exhausted, had trouble sleeping, my thoughts felt like they were caught in a thick, unending fog, and no matter how hard I tried, losing even a few pounds seemed impossible. Everyone kept telling me it was “normal,” that it was just my hormones, that I had to accept this struggle as part of midlife.
But honestly, it started eating away at my confidence. I’d see other women with spark, with energy, and wonder what was wrong because mine was clearly on vacation. By midday, I was either reaching for caffeine or counting the hours to crawl back into bed, still knowing I probably wouldn’t rest well. It made me hesitant to make plans, to say yes to things I’d once loved, and it even started affecting my mood.
One day I stumbled across a simple two-part daily blend, a combination of organic mushrooms and minerals, in a drink that tastes like lemonade. I had zero expectations except maybe to check off “doing something good for myself.” But within a DAY, I noticed a spark of energy. By the end of the first month, I was down 7 lbs (with no strict diets!), my brain fog almost vanished, and even though I sometimes still woke up, my sleep was deeper and I felt truly rested again.
The most incredible part? I’ve got steady energy, my mood is better, and my whole relationship with mornings has changed, without crash diets or extreme workouts (even though I love moving my body, this isn’t about punishment).
