The interstates are open but road conditions aren't great. Some sunshine is starting to peak through and that will help melt some of the ice today. High temperatures going to stay cold, only in the low 20s.

The southeast is getting hit harder with the snow and wind, with most of the southeast under no travel advised. This has led to the interstates being closed. I-94 both ways from Fargo to Valley City and I-29 both ways from Grand Forks into South Dakota.

The heavy snow is causing travel alerts for your Tuesday afternoon. So far, we have had several reports in the 4 to 6 inch range, and some areas are still getting fresh snow. Strong winds will be around through the evening as well.
