Kyle Travers at the age of 29, has been writing songs and stunning live audiences for well over half his lifetime. Growing up in the small town of Black Mountain, North Carolina right outside of Asheville, Kyle was inundated with music of all kinds from a young age. His father, and veteran of the east coast music scene, "Hurricane" Bob Travers, began teaching his son how to play Blues and Rock music at the ripe age of 7. Papa Travers preached the importance of the blues, teaching Kyle that it is the foundation of all American music. He taught Kyle how to play, sing, and write with emotion and feeling rather than focusing their musical education on sheet music, and it shows. His teachings still ring true in the Kyle's music today, each note Kyle plays and sing is steeped in feeling and raw emotion.

I haven't posted in months. Not been on socials at all or my phone very much as of late. Here's an update: It's been a great summer, Jack and I are very happy and I have a gig tomorrow at One World Brewing West with the Jonathan Lloyd Mashup.

We traveled a ton this summer I'll post pics one day for you fam. Tomorrow is gonna be cool I am playing some Santana tunes and he is a big influence of mine.

Thank you everyone for all the lovely birthday messages, posts, and texts. I must admit I feel very loved by many this year and I am grateful to have so many good friends in my life. Love you all dearly. ❤️

🍑 THANK YOU to everyone that came out to the first Pickin' Peaches show at Pisgah Brewing Company last Saturday. The turnout was great and much more than I anticipated!!! What a show, thank you so much for coming out and supporting live music ❤️🙏❤️

Here is a snippet of my solo from "In Memory of Elizabeth Reed" I love playing this song because you have some much expressive freedom in the solo sections. I think I am going to enjoy this Allman Brothers project a ton.

Headed down to Barleys Taproom tonight in Avl to celebrate the Funk Jam's return on Thursday's! I cut my teeth going to funk jam some 15 years ago, love the band and will love this event forever.
