Hello all our sneakerheads and smokers out there.
If you didn’t already know, MN Shoe Guy doesn’t just judge kicks—he’s a full-blown burger aficionado who takes his cheeseburger ratings more seriously than restoring a pair of unreleased Jordans. 🍔👟
We rolled into Denny’s Diner in the Wisconsin Dells over the weekend, and listen: if you’re ever out in those woods, you have to stop at this glorious little time capsule of pop culture history. I literally went to the bathroom and ran into Craig from Friday looking me covering his nose. I was surrounded by pop culture bathroom art. Too funny! 😂
Let’s talk about the burger. Zero fluff, maximum flavor. Just a immaculate sear on a pure beef patty, ultra-crispy bacon, melted cheese, and a house-made BBQ sauce that deserves its own fan club—all snuggled inside a soft, warm bun. Absolute poetry.
Now, the fries? Underwhelming. They dragged the overall score down a notch like a bad lace swap. But here’s the pro move: swap the fries for the sliced potatoes and you are instantly sitting on gold. Oh, and do not leave without grabbing one of their monster sticky buns on your way out—they’re roughly the size of a hubcap and twice as sweet.
Final Score: 8/10 (Would smash this smash burger again).
