The minds coming together for this show are unreal, and the energy behind what we’re building keeps leveling up. I’m fully confident the content, the visuals, and the overall quality are about to hit a whole new tier. Hey everyone! We have a big announcement with both good news and little bad news, let’s start with the good.
Episode One is officially launching in July as soon as editing wraps. We are teaching ourselves how to cut and edit everything together, so no exact date yet, but it’s coming fast.
We’re also almost done setting up the online merch shop — apparel for men and women plus lifestyle gear like rolling trays, glass bongs, water bottles, tumblers, mugs, and more. Target launch: July 4th.

Now for the bad, unfortunately two members of the FK2K family caught a wicked summer flu and we won’t be able to make it to Discs N Dogs on the River this year. We’re bummed, and we apologize to anyone who was looking forward to catching us out there. There’s definitely always next year, plus we’re already working on locking in tickets for Doobie Dabbler in July.

I’ve been seeing so many images like this of the Nigel Sylvester Brick After Brick Jordan 4s that it’s getting hard to believe Nike would let this level of quality control slide. Even with all the man‑made leather they use — which already causes issues in almost every drop — this embroidery work is wild. Every time I jump into sneaker groups to soak up the hypebeast noise younger resellers love to spew, I see more proof that retail QC is slipping. Look at this heel, fam — this ain’t a rep, this is retail. Nike out here stitching like they hired interns from Wish. Meanwhile, Godkiller factories are dropping pairs with tighter embroidery, cleaner cuts, and better materials than what’s coming out of Beaverton. We used to clown reps for flaws like this — now we’re paying resale for the same mistakes. From Kicks 2 Kush is exposing the truth: the hype machine’s slipping, the rep world’s raising the bar, and real sneaker culture deserves better. I never thought I would say this, but I think it’s time that we start talking about buying shoes for quality again and stop believing that Nike is selling us the best quality for our money. Because they are NOT!

We started The FK2K Podcast with one goal — to prove that two guys from Centennial can build something meaningful from scratch. Chris and I still work full‑time jobs, but we pour everything we’ve got into this show because we believe in what it stands for: creativity, culture, and community.
