This guy is always up to no good. He loves opening the cabinets, well what’s left of them and now he is throwing things out of them. The other day he threw a Corning ware pot on the floor and it smashed everywhere. He’s always so proud of himself too.

The minute we open the cupboard Molly climbs up the see what’s inside. She’s so curious.

Stella loves climbing this tree and chewing it apart. The problem being it is an artificial tree. Watch to see who joins her in the tree, he’s being pretty cautious though.

When we adopted Quinton Catherine from Greyhaven told me we would have to be patient with him. Well I thought a few weeks and he would start doing things the other birds from his rescue were already doing. He super smart but very cautious, he takes a long time to do anything he’s not quite sure of. He took years to step up, years to let Scott touch him and 7 years till he went and splashed around with the kitchen faucet. Catherine Gwyer

Scott put down his cookie for 2 seconds and look who steals it. What’s mine is mine and what’s yours is mine. There is no getting it back now. Good thing Mama started milling her own flour and controlling the ingredients in these delicious treats. They are bird safe don’t worry. # cookies

Quinn gets up everyday and goes right to work on his bachelor pad. Sometimes we take it down and then he just rebuilds it. Stella has moved in and won’t leave under any circumstances except food. She will come out for food. Stella is a complete foodie. Quinn gets fed up and is telling Mama all about it.

Watch Quinton remove the screw with his tongue. He does this everyday, sometime he escapes and sometimes he does it just for fun. Watch him tease Scott as he takes off with the screw and puts it in his water bowl. Everything is better Dunked in water as far as Quinn is concerned

Peek a boo I see you, Quinton hanging out in his apartment.

The birds are enjoying the bread Mama is making with fresh milled flour. They all go nuts over it, it’s so nourishing and delicious.

Today is Quinton’s 7 year anniversary of turning our lives upside down. Quinn was the first bird adopted by us and what a bird he is. We adopted him from the shelter that I was volunteering at; Quinn portrayed himself as a reserved, gentle, cautious bird. I remember Catherine saying to me at the shelter before we took him home, you will need to be patient with him. Well I thought he would be stepping up in a couple weeks once we got him home. It took 2 years before he would get on my arm and well Scott hasn’t ever had him step up. Scott hand feeds him everyday just to built trust and finally was able to touch him. He would dive bomb Scott daily occasionally biting him on some random place like the back of the neck. At best Quinton has accepted Scott into his flock as a playmate frequently chasing him around the house. Funny thing is he won’t play with his Mama, he just wants to cuddle. Quinton you have been a handful and destroyed our house but you have made us laugh a lot. We love you very much it’s been a journey to say the least.XO Andrea & Scott.❤️ #

Tomorrow is Quinton’s 7 year anniversary of the day we adopted this little menace. This video shows his talents at escaping from Ducky’s cage and how he removes the screw from his own cage with his tongue. Quinton does the screw removing several times a day; it doesn’t matter how tight we do it he can take it out. It just makes it a bit more challenging. We it call them Quinn-annagins.

Quinton use to let Ducky out of her cage everyday. We thought he liked the challange of opening the door but since Ducky’s passing Quinton hasn’t opened her door at all. Quinton loves her very much. He was actually just letting friend out to play. Quinn has needed extra cuddles through all this. Last night he opened her cage door and went inside to play with her toys, it was so good to see him playing in there. We were going to get rid of Duckys cage at first but we couldn’t bare to take it down. Now we think we will leave it for the others to enjoy and have her memory live on. We love you sweet Ducky❤️
