Driven by a shared longing for hard work and purpose, Britt—a veterinarian raised on a Pennsylvania homestead—and Kelly, a weary West Coast utility worker, leave their former lives behind to restore a historic 1850s property along Wallenpaupack Creek.

What begins as a grueling effort to rebuild a failing 175-year-old barn using self-milled timber soon becomes the bedrock of their future. After hosting their own wedding inside the barn’s restored walls, they turn the property into a beloved event space, restore the soil through regenerative farming, and raise four children along the water's edge.

Their story is an intimate testament to sweat equity, land stewardship, and the quiet triumph of building a multi-generational home.
