It’s been a while since I’ve shared anything, but Cody and I were able to get out the other night and take care of a few c***s. Always feels good to be back in the field doing what I enjoy and helping out local landowners along the way.

I’m planning to start posting more regularly again and keep the content rolling. If you or someone you know has land and could use some predator management, feel free to reach out. I’m always looking for new opportunities and would be glad to help.

, Austin Lemay , and I finally got out hunting last night after a late start. With high winds and a full moon, we weren’t sure how the night would go, but we made the best of it.

We ended up with two males down. One took its time sneaking through the woods, thinking it was safe just inside the tree line… The rabbit in front of him, who took off in a hurry, definitely thanked us for that shot.

Later on, we spotted a pair, but the female was smart enough to realize something wasn’t right. She dipped into a low spot in the field and got out of there before we could get a shot.

Even with the so-so weather, it was a great night spent with good friends.

After taking a good amount of time off, I knew I had to get back out. Even with a late start, last night just felt like the perfect night to be in the field.

Austin and I have had nothing but bad luck hunting together in the past—never even laying eyes on a coyote when he was with me. But last night, that streak finally broke. It was an action-packed hunt, though some of that bad luck still managed to follow us. In the end, we got it done and loaded two onto the truck.

It feels good to be back at it.
