Many soaps on the market use mica powders, dyes, and colorants to achieve those bright pinks, purples, and blues. While mica is technically a naturally occurring mineral, most “mica powders” used in cosmetics today are synthetic, lab-made versions mixed with color additives and stabilizers to achieve bold hues.
