Apparently, I’m in my perimenopause-curious era. 💛

I’m 41, a busy mom, and somewhere between workouts, school drop-off, and building something of my own, I’ve started paying a little more attention to how I’m feeling and how I want to take care of myself in this season of life.

I’m not sure if I’m in perimenopause yet, but I’m learning more about it—and being more intentional about my wellness along the way.

I’ve been a Ritual user for years, so I was excited to learn about their new Perimenopause Health supplement. It’s a daily, hormone-free formula featuring Shatavari Extract, DIM, Evening Primrose Oil, and Vitamin B6, formulated to support perimenopausal hormone and estrogen balance.*

I’m adding it to my routine as part of my ongoing wellness journey. Because taking care of everyone else matters, but taking care of yourself does, too. ✨

Part of my job is sharing my life online. Taking pictures, filming the little moments, and finding ways to tell the stories of our everyday life.

But last night was a good reminder that some of the best memories are the ones you barely document.

We started out playing outside, and little by little, five other families ended up joining us in the cul-de-sac. Suddenly there were 10 kids running around, all the grown-ups hanging out, and it felt like one of those 90s nights where nobody was glued to a phone. We were just there.

We ended up getting freezie for everyone, and Liam looked at me with the biggest smile and said, “This was on my summer bucket list! To have a freezie party with everybody!” 🥹💙

And that was it. That was the whole thing. Just kids being kids, neighbors becoming friends, and a little boy getting to live out something he’d been hoping for.

I only have one picture from the entire night, and I’m completely okay with that.

Sometimes the best parts of life happen when you’re too busy enjoying them to think about posting them. 💙

almost didn’t start UGC because I thought I wasn’t good enough 🥹

anyway… here I am opening $300 worth of free groceries, scrolling through campaign approvals, answering brand inquiries, and looking back at this week’s little wins like 🥹🥹🥹

imagine if I’d let that self-doubt win.

a little reminder that you don’t have to feel ready, confident, or qualified enough to start. sometimes you just have to start scared and figure it out along the way. 🤍

anyway, cheers to the girl who tried anyway. 🥂✨

I think about this more than I probably let on.

I don’t want to look back on these years and realize I was so busy getting through motherhood that I forgot to enjoy it.

I want to make the ordinary days fun. Say yes to the little adventures. Be silly. Get outside. Make the memories. And be the mom who joins in instead of always watching from the sidelines.

That’s a big part of why I prioritize taking care of myself, too. I want to feel strong, keep growing, and have the energy to enjoy the life we’re building.

But I also want to remember that this is my life happening right now, too.

I’m not just raising my son through his childhood. I’m living my motherhood. I’m growing, learning, figuring things out, and making memories right alongside him.

I know there will be hard days. Days when I’m tired, impatient, or just trying to make it to bedtime.

I’m not trying to make every day magical.

I just don’t want to miss all the good that’s already here while waiting for the next thing.

Here’s to making the most of this season, in all its messy, beautiful, very ordinary glory. ❤️

September, you were a fun one. 🥹☕️

A little peek at some of the brands I got to work with last month — some longtime favorites, some new-to-me brands, and a whole lot of content created during those little pockets of time between school drop-off and pickup.

Still kind of wild that this little thing I started for myself is turning into actual opportunities. 🫶🏼

Excited to see what October brings. 👀

Here’s to more creating, more pitching, more dream brands, and figuring it out as I go. 🤍

A little behind-the-scenes of my September as a motherhood + lifestyle UGC creator — the brands I worked with, the content I created, and what building this little creator business actually looks like.

Robot vacuum peeps: what would you buy again? 👀 And are the vacuum + mop combos worth it?

Ian started shopping. I started writing a brand pitch 😂

I pitched Eufy today—we already have one of their portable vacuums that I love, so I’d be excited to explore a partnership.

First episode of “if I want it, I’m going to pitch it.” Taking you along for the asking, the waiting, and whatever happens next 🤞
