We are preparing a list to help you get started, but we are already getting the same questions from a couple of people. The first is, do they need to be removed from albums, and the answer is yes. We recommend you pull out the pictures you want digitized and put them in the order you want them. Of if you don’t care what order they are in, random order is fine. IF you have a group of pictures you want labeled a certain way, we can add a tag to the file name to make it searchable. For example, if you have a bunch of pictures from Christmas in 1987, you can put them together with a rubber band or in a ziplock baggie with a note that says “Christmas 1987” and we can add that tag. We can’t do individual pictures that way, but if you have a group of ten or more we can add those tags for you. We have found Google photos to be a great way to tag your photos though, so you might wish to wait and use that to tag them. It can recognize faces and add name tags to your photos, so when you are looking for a picture of “Judy” you can search by her name and all the photos of her will come up. It is a really useful tool.
