Friskie Morris & Friends wears a lot of hats: it's the musical solo project of Stephen DeFalco (Pink Hotel, TurboVamps), a podcast network, a record label, show booking/promoting, and overall consultant to any band or podcast needing help. Over 40 musicians representing over 30 local Chicago punk bands helped record the 2013 release. This community of musicians and bands was the catalyst for what
FM&F is today. After the 2013 release, Stephen and lead engineer Chris DeQuick began a podcast in October of 2013 called Friskie Morris Sessions with the mission of highlighting and connecting bands and key players in the Chicagoland punk scene. In 2017, Friskie Morris & Friends expanded once again and included booking/promoting shows, helping bands book tours, and record label to its list of services. The podcast and FM&F itself has seen many iterations over the past 8 years but the mission has always stayed the same and has expanded to include bands and creatives from all over the world.
