Year two of family camping at Toccoa River Campground. This year we did a lot more fishing and caught a ton of fish (catch and release). Carter and I both caught our first Creek Chubs and I caught my first ever Smallmouth bass, accidentally, by trying to use the chub to catch a monster Brown Trout. Finished the weekend off by hiking to Preacher’s Rock and then late lunch and ice cream in Blue Ridge. Hell of a relaxing weekend.

Gotta give a special shout out to on her final Teacher Appreciation Day as a public school teacher. I’ve always told her she was born for that job and I know every one of her students would agree. I’ve watched her pour her heart, soul, and energy into those kids for the last 10 years - even to the detriment of her own mental health at times. Teachers have it tougher than a lot of people understand. They’re often hamstrung by bureaucracy and lack support from incompetent leadership. And at the same time they’re attacked and blamed by parents for THEIR child’s behavior. More recently they’ve been demonized and politicized when all the vast majority of the want to do is make a positive impact on children who are the future of our world. Underpaid and under appreciated. If you know a teacher, thank them. And a special thank you to my wife as she moves on to a new career. I’m proud of you and I love you.

The new Republicans claim to be anti war etc yet they’re zionists bought and paid for by AIPAC and the intelligence | defense | police | surveillance state. Certain transparencies and revelations may come about… Russian war may end from this new administration - but more liberties will be lost in the long run and more wars will be fought in the Middle East. I’m fairly certain about that.
