Respect the Polygon!
I had the honor of presenting an Axeworks axe to James Spann today after he joined us as a guest speaker at our church.
If you’ve lived in Alabama for any length of time, you know the voice, the suspenders, the weather maps-and you definitely know that when James says, “Respect the polygon,” you pay attention.
It only seemed right to engrave those words into a one-of-a-kind axe made especially for him.
James has spent decades faithfully serving Alabamians through some of our most chaotic and frightening weather, often working long hours while the rest of us are depending on him to help keep our families safe. It was a privilege to meet him, shake his hand, and give him this small token of appreciation for the countless hours he has given our state.
Thanks, James, for all you do.
And remember: Respect the Polygon. Especially if the guy holding the axe tells you to.
