Hayride & Honey is taking a little rest.

We’re currently out of the goat milk soap, but a fresh batch is curing and should be ready around Halloween. Handmade soap doesn’t hurry, so these bars are getting the time they need before they head out the door.

We’ll let you know when they’re ready.

A handmade bar likes a little breathing room.

Between uses, keep it out of standing water and give it a place where air can move around it. A draining dish or sisal soap saver helps the bar dry between washes.

Simple care for something made slowly.

No sales pitch today—just one bright-eyed reminder of where the character and occasional interruptions come from.

The swirls get the attention. The waiting is the part that makes soapmaking an exercise in patience.

This is the beginning: freshly poured loaves resting in their molds. After they’re cut, our bars cure for 4–6 weeks before they’re ready.

Around here, handmade moves a little slower—and we’re just fine with that.
