Fun new thing I added to my website- framed prints!! I get asked if I sell frames ALL THE TIME. I’ve been trying to figure out the logistics of everything and it’s still a work in progress. For me personally, it is a labor of love and something I enjoy doing. I love going to antique stores and finding frames that speak to me and then bringing them back to life! This one is a 17”x14” frame with a print by Jean-Jacques Henner titled, “The Bather”.

This is a 17 1/8 inch x 14 1/8 inch sized dark brown frame with touches of gold. The art in the matte is sized at 9 inches x 11 inches and is by Jean-Jacques Henner. It is titled “A Bather”. This print is not an original artwork. It is a reprint that has been edited and digitally enhanced by me....

I’ve been enjoying this false spring we are having! The sun was out today, temporarily, while I was packing a few orders! I sat there for a moment, basking in the sun by the window and just thought about how far I’ve come. From storing prints under the bed and packing orders from my nightstand, to having a small space in the corner of the garage, to officially taking over the office in our home! Life is good! I get a lot of questions about custom sizing so I figured I’d do a post explaining what I offer. I only keep 8x10 sizes in stock because that is the most requested size and it’s inexpensive to ship. However, I can get up to 43” x 110” and anything in between. Would I recommend going that large for vintage art? Probably not.

All custom sizes are printed on this beautiful textured “Cold Press Paper”. It is different than the Royal Linen 80 # Cardstock I use for my 8x10 sized prints. Cold Press Paper is a textured, medium-rough surface paper commonly used for watercolor. It is a heavy weight, archival paper, offering excellent durability. This paper is perfect for vintage art prints!

One of my main goals with my business is to keep things affordable. I am proud to share that the custom sizes are very budget friendly and they don’t compromise quality. Here are some common sizes and prices to give you an idea:
4x6/5x7- $5
8x10- $6
10x10- $8
9x12- $9
11x14- $12
12x16- $13
12x18- $14
16x20-$20

It takes about 2-3 business days to get an order printed followed by 3-5 days for shipping! Shipping is a flat $6.50 and prints larger than 8”x10” are rolled up in between wrapping paper and are shipped in a triangle shaped tube box. Sizes 8”x10” and smaller are shipped flat in a rigid mailing envelope.

I always find it interesting how every month or so there is a print that gains popularity! This month, these “Oil-Painted Peonies” sold out faster than any other print on my website! I can understand why, this print is the perfect sort of moody, floral vibe. (It is currently out of stock, but will be coming back in stock this Friday.)

The most random desk. I have shipping supplies I need to put away, random decor that I’ve picked up from thrift stores, a Christmas projector for my kids, a few orders that have to go out, my husband’s book on wiring, random art and fake plants. Not super aesthetically pleasing but it’s also not as cluttered as it usually is haha!

I have done a lot of organizing lately and I am not sure why this was not my go to method from the beginning. I now have over 300 prints at natronedesigns.com so this definitely makes it easy for inventory purposes! Is it the most appealing thing in the world? No, but I am more about practicality lately!

I ran out of wall space to hang another vertical paper organizer so I came up with another solution, one that I probably should have done from the beginning- filing cabinets. For some reason, I think filing cabinets are sort of clunky and outdated but they sure are nice for organization purposes. The ease of functionality definitely beats caring about aesthetics. With my new prints drop (coming soon), I will have over 300 prints at natronedesigns.com 🙀
