Bertie went in for one thing and came out with six bags, a rotisserie chicken, and a pineapple shaped candle he cannot explain. Milk was somehow not one of the things he bought. This is not a mistake, this is a lifestyle.

Bertie bought a new umbrella specifically for days like this and the wind had other plans within about four seconds. He gave up fighting it and just let it flap around like a flag the rest of the walk. Some days you win, some days the wind wins.

Bertie tried to make pancakes and ended up setting off the smoke alarm before he even got the stove on properly. The pancake landed on his head. The alarm did not care. Breakfast chaos, fully unqualified, ten out of ten.
