With rattlesnakes, skunks, and porcupines common across Idaho and the region, a Boise-based workshop offered dog owners a chance to train their pets to avoid dangerous encounters.

The Idaho Chukar Foundation hosted a rattlesnake, porcupine, and skunk avoidance training for dogs at the Agriculture Pavilion in Boise’s Julia Davis Park on Saturday.
