Somewhere along the way, a lot of women were told they had to choose.
Choose the career or the kids.
Choose stability or freedom.
Choose providing or being present.

But that story isn’t true.

You’re allowed to build a business
that supports your family and lets you be there for them.

You’re allowed to create income
without missing the moments that matter.

You’re allowed to want both.

And if that desire is on your heart?

It’s probably there for a reason. šŸ’›

I went from making a $20,000 mistake to teaching others how to avoid them. šŸ’°

Here's my most embarrassing story: As a CPA working for a chaotic company, we overstated someone's salary by $20,000 per year. The employee didn't say anything (obviously) and it went undetected for an entire year. 😳

I was mortified. Here I was, supposedly "qualified" with all my degrees and certifications, and I made a massive error that cost my employer big time.

But you know what? That mistake taught me more about the importance of systems and processes than any textbook ever did.

Now I help people build bookkeeping businesses with bulletproof review processes so they never have to experience that nightmare. šŸ›”ļø

Your biggest failures often become your greatest strengths.

The mistake that embarrassed me the most became the foundation of everything I teach about quality control and client protection.

What's a mistake that ended up teaching you something valuable? Share it in the comments! šŸ‘‡

Being a mom already requires strength, patience, and resilience.

You solve problems all day.
You manage chaos.
You figure things out as you go.

Those are the exact skills entrepreneurs use.

You don’t have to stop being a great mom to build something meaningful.

You just start small.
One step.
One goal.
One action at a time.

And along the way, you show your little one something powerful:
What it looks like to believe in yourself. šŸ’›

Most people think starting a bookkeeping business is complicated.

Like you need an accounting degree.

Or years of experience.

Or some fancy website before anyone will hire you.

None of that is true.

Here’s what actually happens for most of my students:
🟄 They start out stuck in a job they don’t love, wondering if starting something of their own is even possible.
🟄 They worry they don’t know enough.
🟄 They overthink every step.
🟄 They keep telling themselves ā€œmaybe someday.ā€

Then they learn the simple path.
🟢 A few basic bookkeeping skills.
🟢 How QuickBooks actually works.
🟢 Where real clients come from.

And suddenly it clicks.

Instead of wondering if they could do this…

They’re landing their first paying client.

That’s exactly why I created my free mini course.

Inside, I walk you through:
• Whether bookkeeping is the right fit for you
• How much you can realistically charge
• The basic skills you actually need
• And where your first client can come from

No accounting degree required.

No complicated business plan.

Just a clear starting point.

If you’ve been thinking about starting something of your own…

This is your first step.

Comment MINI COURSE and I’ll send it to you.

I used to drive 30+ minutes each way to pick up a folder of receipts. Now my clients upload everything digitally. šŸš—āž”ļøšŸ’»

My first "client" was an esthetician who I bartered with - facials for bookkeeping. Sounds nice, right? Wrong.

I would drive over 30 minutes to her location, pick up a manila folder stuffed with crumpled receipts, drive home, manually enter everything into QuickBooks Desktop (that I paid for), then drive BACK to return the folder. šŸ˜…

I was spending more on gas than I was "earning" in services.

Fast forward to today: Everything is 100% virtual. Clients upload receipts through apps, I work with bookkeepers across the country, and I haven't touched a physical receipt in years.

The difference? I learned that convenience isn't just nice to have - it's essential for scaling. šŸ“ˆ

If your business model requires you to be a delivery driver, you don't have a business model.

What's the most inefficient thing you used to do that you've now streamlined? Let's laugh about it in the comments! šŸ˜‚

You don’t have to do everything today.

You don’t have to have the perfect plan.
You don’t have to know every step.
You don’t have to feel 100% ready.

You just have to start.

One small action today.
One brave decision.
One step toward the life you want.

That’s how momentum begins.

Progress — not perfection — is the goal. šŸ’›

Most new bookkeepers think landing clients requires…
šŸ”“ Complicated sales scripts
šŸ”“ High-pressure sales tactics
šŸ”“ Hour-long calls

But that’s not how it works.

Most of my bookkeeping clients hired me after a 15-minute conversation.

That’s it.

šŸ‘‰ No aggressive sales tactics.
šŸ‘‰ No convincing people.
šŸ‘‰ No fancy presentations.

Just a simple conversation where I:
• Ask a few questions about their business
• Explain how I can help

By the end of the call, they usually say something like…
"Yes, this is exactly what I need."

That simple 15-minute discovery call is how I’ve signed clients for:
āœ”ļø Monthly bookkeeping
āœ”ļø Catch-up bookkeeping
āœ”ļø QuickBooks setups

Inside my Simple Offers Webinar, I’ll show you:
• The 3 simple bookkeeping offers that built my business
• How beginners land their first bookkeeping clients
• The exact 15-minute discovery call framework I use

Plus you'll also get:
āœ” Simple Offers Workbook
āœ” 15-Minute Discovery Call Script

Progress doesn’t happen all at once.
It happens in tiny decisions.

The day you send the message.
The day you learn the skill.
The day you finally say, ā€œI’m doing this.ā€

You don’t need to do everything perfectly.

You just need to keep moving.

One step.
One action.
One brave decision at a time. šŸ’›

Your future self is waiting for you.

Waiting for the moment you finally say:
ā€œI’m doing this.ā€

Not because everything is perfect.
But because you decided you’re ready for something more.

More freedom.
More flexibility.
More control over your time.

That’s exactly why so many people start bookkeeping businesses.

It’s a skill you can learn…
A business you can start from home…
And a path that can completely change your future.

If you're curious about becoming a bookkeeper…

I’m a CPA.

I have the accounting degree.

I have the MBA.
I took the CPA exams.
I did the whole thing.

And I’m telling you…

You do NOT need to become a CPA to start a bookkeeping business.

You don’t need an accounting degree, either.

Because your clients aren’t looking for someone who can explain every complicated accounting rule known to man.

They have much simpler problems.

Their books are six months behind.

Their QuickBooks is a mess.

Nothing has been reconciled in who-knows-how-long.

Or they’re simply tired of spending their Sunday afternoon trying to figure out where that $247 charge belongs. šŸ˜‚

They want someone who can take bookkeeping OFF their plate.

That’s it.

And I think this is where a lot of new bookkeepers accidentally make starting a business WAY harder than it
needs to be.

They think they need another certification.

Then another course.

Then they need to learn taxes.

And payroll.

And sales tax.

And inventory.

And CFO services.

And suddenly they’ve spent a year ā€œgetting readyā€ instead of getting clients.

Meanwhile…

I don’t prepare tax returns.
I don’t process payroll.
I don’t handle sales tax.
I don’t take complicated inventory clients.

And I’ve still built a multi-six-figure bookkeeping business.

Not by offering MORE.

By getting really good at selling a few simple things that small business owners already need.

That’s the business model I wish more new bookkeepers knew existed.

You don’t have to be everything to everybody.

You don’t need 47 services.

And you definitely don’t need to become a CPA first.

You need the skills to solve a real problem and a simple offer people are willing to pay for.

And if you want to see exactly what those offers can look like, I break down the 3 Simple Offers I use in my own
bookkeeping business in my free Simple Offers Webinar.

Comment SIMPLE below and I’ll send you the link. šŸ‘‡
