This earthly life is a long road of seeking solace. Our leader dropped us off here in the desert so that we might take to the airwaves and spread our healing far and wide. Daniel and Chante co-host and predominantly preach from the good books of garage, punk and noise. DJ Sage (of Smoke & Mirrors legacy) is also often involved. Monday nights at 10pm, we take you to a better place.

Pics from Black Flag last night.
Kind of amazes me some of the stuff people say online, but the band came out meaning business and really put on a show. Respect especially to Landon for jumping on a two month tour last minute and doing the catalog justice. They played two sets and hung out and made time for everyone. Had the vibes of an early 80s Hermosa Beach house party. Couldn’t ask for a better night seeing this in the Shrine basement. Thanks guys!

Convergence 2026 wrapped up with The GOV killing off Mantooth, proudly displaying the severed head of their rival. It was a decent run while it lasted, and we’ll all miss Mantooth. RIP.
The night was actually beautiful, with lots of love and hugs from Jün and Roller Dome preceding the boys’ scuffle. There was a bigger stage outside with more bands, but it was windy and rainy, and I’m a fair weather fan and just trust that it was all good and no extra casualties. Really fun festival all the way around. Hope to see it back next year, they’ll just have to find a new head-liner I guess.

Antiporter came dark and heavy, but with a couple smiles and some dancers 😏 Props also to Earthlings Entertainment, The Lovecraft, Bad Quitters and lots of other bands played all day before I got there. More tonight, more tomorrow at the VAC!
