One of my favorite summer laundry shortcutsā€¦ and apparently one of my most controversial. šŸ˜‚

When itā€™s hot outside, I wash my 100% cotton or linen sheets with non-toxic detergent and put them right back on the bed **still wet**.

Then I let the summer heat do the rest.

No hour in the dryer, less energy used, and by bedtime we have those crisp, fresh sheets I love.

Equal parts eco-friendly and a little rebellious. šŸ˜ And as long as these hot temps stick around, Iā€™m going to keep doing it.

You may be watching this thinking I have officially taken homemaking too far. šŸ˜‚

But library books are shared by LOTS of peopleā€¦and then my kids take them straight to their beds.

So when we bring home a new stack, I give the covers a quick wipe. Easy.

And yes! The cleaner I use disinfects AND is a non-toxic choice for our home. šŸ™Œ
