Don’t even tempt me with a good time…

“What does a woman in her 30s with no kids even do?”

Apparently… whatever I want. 💥

For me, that’s looked like trails, rivers, concerts, vineyards, road trips, moving to a new city, strengthening friendships, solo adventures, and collecting moments that make me feel alive.

There isn’t one “right” timeline.

Whether you’re raising kids, building a career, chasing big goals, or simply figuring it out as you go, a full life can look a hundred different ways.

This one just happens to be mine. ❤️

Me: “It’s just an easy run.”

The heat & humidity: “Cute.” 😈 🥵

It doesn’t take much to convince me to sleep under the stars.

Just mention the mountains and I’m already packing! 🏕️ 💫

Maybe nature is my love language 🤷‍♀️ ✨

Who else can relate?

There comes a point where staying comfortable starts costing more than taking the risk.

A year ago, I never would’ve imagined packing up my life and moving to a city where I didn’t know a single person.

Since then, I’ve had to introduce myself. Go to events alone. Walk into run clubs where no one knows my name. Build friendships from scratch. Create a new routine. Build a life one uncomfortable first at a time.

It hasn’t always been easy. There have been lonely moments, awkward moments, and moments where I questioned if I made the right decision.

But I’m learning that starting over isn’t about having all the answers.

It’s about trusting yourself enough to build a life you’re excited to wake up to.

If life ever hands you the opportunity to start over somewhere new…

Go.

The version of you waiting on the other side is worth meeting. ❤️

✨ Have you ever moved somewhere without knowing anyone? Would you do it again?

This is the freedom I’m celebrating today. 🇺🇸

Lake views. Summit sunrises. Meals that somehow taste like five stars after 12 miles. And questionable backcountry beverage choices 😂

Here’s to the kind of freedom that gets you outside.

Happy Fourth. ❤️🤍💙

POV: You’re convinced your dog is dying... and he’s just vibing. 😅💀

Guess it was me... I was the one dying 😂😂

Peak millennial behavior:

✔️ Spend hours running up mountains for fun.
✔️ Sign up for ultramarathons.
✔️ Sleep on the ground in the middle of nowhere.
❌ Answer an unknown phone call.

Funny how confidence doesn’t always transfer. 😅

We all have our weaknesses… what’s your most irrational one? 👇

For a long time, I thought being a good person meant giving pieces of myself away.

Being the helper.
The fixer.
The one who stayed.
The one who understood.
The one who gave second chances, extra chances, and then a few more after that.

I poured so much energy into helping other people become the version of themselves they wanted to be that somewhere along the way, I stopped asking what I wanted.

And maybe that’s why the trail keeps calling me back.

Out here, nobody needs me to save them.
Nobody needs me to shrink, bend, prove, convince, or carry their baggage.

The mountains don’t ask me to be anything other than exactly who I am.

Just show up.
Take the next step.
Keep moving forward.

Somewhere between the sunrises, the sore legs, the backpack miles, the river crossings, and the quiet moments with Banks, I’ve started finding those missing pieces again.

The confidence.
The peace.
The joy.
The curiosity.
The version of me that existed before I convinced myself I had to earn love by sacrificing myself.

Maybe I was never meant to spend my life fixing people.

Maybe I was meant to climb mountains.
Get lost in the woods.
Sleep under the stars.
Run wild trails with my dog.
Collect stories instead of scars.

Maybe the pieces I’ve been giving away all these years were supposed to stay with me.

And maybe healing isn’t becoming someone new.

Maybe it’s coming home to yourself.

Maybe part of my story is to inspire you to find yourself, too.

Not in another person.
Not in someone else’s approval.

But somewhere between the mountains, the miles, the mistakes, and the adventures that make you feel alive.
