As an innovative leader and devoted to bringing you the very best of cake trends, CCM features many cakes each year. So it is only natural that at the end of the year, the editorial team sits down to review the past year. We have decided to award the Best Cake that appeared in CCM.

This year after much discussion but very little debate, Hilda Aghilizade created the cake we deemed the best. It appeared in CCM Valentine's Edition and was the Best Sculpted Cake.

A colorful fall scene always is awesome inspiring in its beauty. This diorama is created to project the feeling of an autum walk in the forest. The trees are aflame with yellows, reds and yellows. The forest floor being covered by a colorful quilt of leaves. You can just feel the vibe.

Elham leads you through all the steps required to create this diorama. From the base to the background wall of cake. Trees are created. Using wafer paper leaves are created for the trees. The ground covered with cake crumbs to simulate the fallen leaves.
