On Valentine’s Day, February 14th, 2018, 17 students and educators were murdered in a mass school shooting in Parkland, Florida.
Four years later, Editor-in-Chief Jackson Chadwick reflects back on the aftermath of this tragedy and calls on the Democratic trifecta in government to take more action on gun control legislation.
“Our country is reactionary. For legislation to pass anywhere (especially in Congress), it feels as if something awful has to happen first. And even then, actual reform is hard to come by.”

Editor-in-Chief Jackson Chadwick is back with part two of his “Control of the House: An Inside Look” series.
Since the first publication, more states have passed new congressional lines, including Texas, North Carolina, and Colorado.
Redistricting thus far has resulted in a net loss of 5 competitive House seats, and that number is likely to grow as both parties utilize gerrymandering in the map-making process.
