24 cross-country athletes and 25 downhill racers will compete in Val di Sole, Italy from August 26-30 following an impressive World Cup season.

Sometime during that last block of racing Cynthia made an observation like “it’s pretty cool how so many of the people who hire us are racing and winning at some really big races, these people are so good!”, and she’s right - our customers are the absolute BEST.

Don’t get me wrong, they’re REALLY good at bikes. But in a sport that’s legitimately full of good people, these are some of the nicest I’ve met, and it’s such an honor every time they reach out and say “Steve, are you going to be at the race this weekend?”.

Every rider that booked ahead for DH Nats was a repeat customer, and these riders make this all possible for us. So, from the bottoms of my heart, thank you all so much!

I know you’re all going to do great things in the years to come, whether on the bike or off, and I can’t wait to see what you accomplish. We’ll be cheering for you all the way.

Eight years ago today, pretty much on a whim, we decided to drive up to the World Cup in Mont-Sainte-Anne to see our favorite XC & DH riders. Since then we've been to at least one World Cup round every year.
And because it was 2018, I took this photo on a blackberry. I also brought a Canon T5 with me, but it was the first season of short track and I didn't know what to expect Friday night so I left it at the hotel. 😂

Local Rider Spotlight:

Last year during XCO Nats Greta Kilburn was in the lead pack and a spectator next to me asked “who is that, does anyone know?”.

I said yeah, she’s a New Englander, I’ve seen her at the races, she’s legit, you’ll definitely be hearing her name more.

This year she went and won the u23 short track national championship (while absolutely surrounded by Bear riders for the majority of the laps) and then two days later took the national champs title in the U23 XCO race as well.

You know how when you're out on the trails all you see are people on Specializeds? But then you're at a race and you have an idea for a photo and all you need to make it work is for someone to come by on an S-Works but every rider you see is on a Pinarello for some reason? I guess that's just life. 🤷

MIT Engineers Athletics hosted Coast Guard Athletics Saturday for the final round of the Women's Lacrosse NEWMAC Championship. Engineers won 12-5 to earn back-to-back championship titles.
