Hey yall! Hey!

I forgot how healing and mood boosting music is! It's been quite a while since I've had a good jam session.

I'm talking music blasting, beat in your ears, feeling that bass in your chest, and the nostalgia in your mind and heart!

This morning, I did JUST that and I'm so glad I did. It was the mood boost and energy shift I didn't know I needed! Although this week is a little tough for me, I'm still creating ways to find the joy and beauty of life inside and out!

✨ RETURNING TO ME: 40 BEFORE 40 ✨

I have exactly 31 weeks until my 40th birthday.

For a long time, I thought choosing myself was something I'd get around to later.

After the bills were paid.
After the responsibilities slowed down.
After everyone else needed a little less from me.

But lately I've been realizing something...

There will always be another reason to wait.

So between now and my 40th birthday, I'm giving myself 40 intentional yeses.

Some will be experiences.
Some will be boundaries.
Some will be moments of rest.
Some may seem small to everyone else.

But each one will be a reminder that I deserve to take up space in my own life.

More importantly, each yes will come with a lesson.

Because this journey isn't really about turning 40.

It's about returning to myself.

A few days ago, I decided to buy myself Not because I needed it or it was practical. Simply because...

I wanted to.

The funny thing is, after months of focusing on bills, tuition, graduation, and making sure everyone else had what they needed, I couldn't immediately think of what I wanted.

But once I hit the mall, the universe immediately gave the me answer!

And later, the message. This wasn't just about buying myself something.

It was about giving myself permission to take up space in my own life, to trust my own voice/intuiton and MOVE on it!

So here's to choosing myself many more "Yes Days."

If you've seen me lately, just know graduation season has been GRADUATION-ING. 😂

Between school events, planning, errands, and life, I've been living in survival mode for a few weeks.
But today I actually got dressed, took a picture, and felt like myself again.

It's funny how something as simple as putting together an outfit can remind you that you matter too.

Healing is realizing that just because you can carry it all…doesn’t mean it was ever yours to hold.

Lately I’ve been standing on my boundaries and give myself permission to put the weight down

Sometimes the strongest people struggle the most with receiving support.
We’re used to being the one who holds everyone else together.
The helper.
The fixer.
The strong friend.
But when life breaks us open, we often stay silent because we don’t want to be a burden.
I learned something during one of the hardest seasons of my life:
The people who truly love you don’t see your pain as a burden.
They see it as a moment to show up for you.
