As the official media sponsor, Boston Common magazine is proud to support the Emerald Necklace’s annual celebration, Sparkle for the Park: An Enchanted Evening. An evolution of the beloved Party in the Park, the event comes to life on May 13 to raise critical funds in support of the Emerald Necklace Conservancy’s work in our public parks.
This year, the reimagined event will be held in Milton—at the home to one of Frederick Law Olmsted’s sons—made available by a generous, longtime Conservancy supporter. Guests can expect an exceptional evening with outstanding food from local chefs, lively entertainment from community artists, and an exciting auction—all in a unique and elegant setting.
Over more than 20 years, the funds raised through this annual event have supported the care of more than 13,500 inventoried trees, as well as significant restoration and improvements throughout the historic Emerald Necklace park system. The generosity of friends and supporters ensures these treasured landscapes remain vibrant, welcoming, and accessible for all.
