for this weekend’s tilt against is not looking any better than yesterday. Invest 92L is expected to become Isaias later today or tomorrow and rapidly gain strength as it is pulled north. The biggest question now is the arrival time of the weather, and even a delay of 6-12 hours puts the Saturday night right in the middle of Tropical rains from Isaias.

We continue to monitor the developing story line for the - game this Saturday with possible major concerns looming.
Isaias is expected to form and the current GFS model has it tracking just to the west of Tuscaloosa, which puts the most moisture and wind over the stadium. Arrival time of the worst is currently showing to be around game time. This is subject to major changes as generally outside of 72-hours, the forecast cone is much wider. If it tacks further east, then it will be much better for the game.

It hasn’t formed yet, but the current GFS model has the current low pressure system in the forming and pushing NE into Mississippi and Alabama, dumping inches of rain over the Southeast. This is expected to be over Tuscaloosa for the upcoming game between the and . This is only 1 model run and not an official forecast. Please check with the National Hurricane Center for the most reliable and up-to-date forecast.

Rainfall totals expected over an inch for the day. Could be a sloppy game between the tackles, where the are the best in the SEC, and 3rd best in the entire country.
