Part II - Tribute to another 8 bands playing at next weekend's exquisite and fabulous Surf Guitar 101 Convention.....a must attend extravaganza for any surf instros fan! We'll be playing selected cuts from these cds from 11am - Noon (mdt) Saturday, July 26th on independent Radio1190 1190AM 92.9FM and worldwide @ 1190.radio. Can't wait to get to Long Beach!

The concept equals nothing new, yet we want to join the DJ's & radio stations paying tribute to the upcoming Surf Guitar 101 Convention. This Saturday we'll be playing 16 of the bands appearing August 01, 02, and 03 at the Golden Sails Hotel in Long Beach, CA {apologies to the bands for which we don't have your music.....yet....will rectify at the shows}. For this post, these are 8 bands we have on vinyl (tomorrow we'll do another 8 for the cd's). SG101 places the bar super high in terms of surf instro gatherings and represents a not to be missed experience. Get a preview on Radio1190 1190.radio Saturdays 11am - Noon (mdt)
