Ok, I am trying something different with EVPs since posting them as reel videos on here doesn't seem to get views from followers (only non-followers). This is from my last visit to the Mysterious Monroe House Haunting back in April. It was recorded in the blue room. After my voice, you can here a female's voice giggle (at about the 0:12 mark). OK, time for a spooky story. This is from back in the 1990s, when I was probably in my late teens. I woke up in the middle of the night because I heard my dad get up to use the bathroom. Then I heard him in the kitchen. Then the phone rang. I heard my dad say “hello?”, and then nothing. He then went back to bed. The next day, my mom told me about the phone ringing and said that when my dad answered it, he heard an old woman’s voice say “Mike” (his name) over the phone, and then nothing. This happened exactly around the time that my grandma (my dad’s mom) passed away. I think it was either the day of her showing or the day of her funeral. First I thought that maybe the woman who called was one of my dad’s aunts, but why would they call in the middle of the night, say his name, and then hang up? Our phone didn’t have caller id back then so there was no way to check the number. Could it have been my grandma reaching out one last time, or just an eerie coincidence that the phone happened to ring right when my dad went into the kitchen in the middle of the night, and the caller only spoke his name? Stay spooky!
