und purpose and fulfillment after 50. When I retired from the military, I found myself standing at a crossroads, uncertain of what the future held for me. I had spent 20 years serving my country, with the latter two years transforming civilians into soldiers, and now I was faced with the daunting task of figuring out what to do with the rest of my life. It was a time of great excitement, but also a time of anxiety and uncertainty. Just as I was starting to come to terms with my emotions of feeling lost without purpose and uncertainty, tragedy happened. 30 days after retiring, I received the devastating news that my dad had stage four brain cancer and later passed away. Four years later, I received the same devastating news that my mom had stage four colon cancer and later passed away. Suddenly, all my plans and dreams seemed insignificant in the face of this terrible tragedy. I felt like I was in a state of stagnation, unable to move forward with my life as I had once hoped. I found myself adrift, attending countless seminars, spending thousands of dollars in the hope of finding some direction or purpose. Despite my efforts, I couldn't seem to find the answers I was desperately searching for. I felt lost, not knowing how to navigate this new phase of life that had just arrived. It was in this moment of darkness and despair that I realized I needed to make a decision. Once I rededicated my life to Jesus, I was led to seek the guidance of the Maxwell leadership team. Through their mentorship and wisdom, I began to find my path. That's why I decided to become a purpose coach for faith-driven professional women over 50 to help them define their unique purpose and live life to its fullest.
