School families and community members picked up paintbrushes on May 16 to help complete the new mural by Juniper Creative Arts that’s going up at Neshobe School. The 40-foot-long mural on a wall facing Route 73 features a beautiful rendition of the school mascot, a bee who reminds us all to “bee kind, bee safe, and bee responsible.”

Juniper Arts Creative is a family arts collective based just a short walk from the school in Forest Dale. Jennifer Herrera Condry, Will Kasso Condry, and their daughter Alexa Herrera Condry have created over fifty murals together across Vermont since 2020, with a focus on community-building and empowerment. Kasso Condry previously worked for over two decades making public art and mentoring youth as part of his mission to enrich lives and expand perspectives through art, especially in underprivileged communities.
