We made it back to Cafe B-29 in Ozark, and I’m happy to report this place is still on my list of one of the top cafes this area has to offer!
The first time we went, I was in awe over the military details everywhere you look! It feels less like a restaurant and more like somebody built a full-blown museum that just happens to serve really good food. And they truly honor the veterans here.
We started with a salad, because the homemade ranch here is top notch. Shera grades places on their ranch dressing and she gives it an A+!
Last time, Shera had the catfish and I had the shrimp. This time we switched it up. I got the catfish dinner, and now I understand why Shera was so impressed. It was fantastic! It was flavorful and exactly what I hoped it would be. It comes with homemade tartar sauce which makes it even better. Shera went with the shrimp this time, and it was great too!
So yes, Cafe B-29 passed the return-trip test. Great atmosphere, great food, and still one of the coolest restaurants we’ve been to around here.
