Did anyone else see the amazing Northern Lights last night? We were driving down the strip and heard a loud deep motorboat rumbling sound and smelled fermented bananas. I took this photo of the Northern Lights but when I got home and looked more closely at the photo….we saw this! 😳 We’d love to see your Ar**la Borealis photos in the comments

Mary Breedon’s Boarding House - Branson, Mo.(Circa 1912)

Mary Breedon was a successful business woman & civic leader in Branson for much of her life.

Mary Breedon’s Boarding House was located on
South Commercial Street. It was opened to the public on June 1, 1912. It remained a successful Branson hotel for the next 13 years.

In August of 1925, she bought a smaller hotel known as Hall’s Inn on Walnut Street. She immediately leased it out but retained ownership with the idea of moving her hotel to that building giving her a more central location in town, which she eventually did by 1928

On December 14, 1925, she traded Breedon’s Boarding House to Ben Welch for his 140 acre farm adjoining the Oak Grove School in McKinney Bend.

She sold that property a 15 months later.

She died at the age of 81 in 1963 at her home in Kirbyville.
