What is that mish-mash you ask?
What we affectionately call Sushi Salad.
Back in the dark ages when the husband and I first started dating, sushi and sashimi were just starting to become a thing. I mean, who would eat eat raw fish, right?
How far we have come!
Now if I can get my hands on sushi grade tuna (thank you - I paid for my order. It was NOT provided. But if you are looking for really good fish, delivered, I highly recommend )
the first thing I make is Sushi Salad. You can find my recipe on the blog through searching well, "sushi salad".
We both love it!
It can be made without the tuna for a purely vegetarian meal or go with cooked scallops, crabmeat or surimi. Heck, I wouldn't mind chicken or pork. Let your imagination run!
We definitely enjoyed dinner last night.
