Imagine what people thought about when Noah was building an Ark in an area of dry land. He told people God’s judgement is coming so you need to put your faith in God and accept His way of salvation or you will drown in a global flood. People thought he was crazy. The fact checkers must have constantly told him there has never been area flooding capable enough to float that massive boat he was building let alone much rain then. The fact checkers died. Today the message is put your faith and trust in God (the Lord Jesus Christ) because He has paid the penalty for our sins and if you don’t, global fire is coming. I’m sure people think we crazy. Be aware of what happened to the last fact checkers.

You know how when the New Year comes around and you have goals and resolutions to consider? Consider a new self that will last for eternity. When I surrendered my life to Christ, a change took place that has never gone away. Believing in Christ is a new life where the old you in buried, never to return because its a work God does by His grace.
2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation.The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.
John 3:3 Jesus answered him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
Romans 6:4 We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life.

Food for thought: If your kids want to continue listening or reading the Christmas account it’s completely fine because Jesus was not born on December 25th. It is very beneficial to have a book that teaches the reliability of God promises, the confidence in God’s Word, the clear Gospel presentation and a thorough understanding of how to be saved.

Happy New Year! As the Christmas season has passed and the Gospel has been planted in the hearts of the family, don’t forget to water what has been planted! A good gardener follows the guide lines of cultivation, planting, watering, removing weeds and keeping the various infiltrators out in order to have a fruitful harvest. May God bring forth the growth and fruit of our laboring because plants can’t grow without the Son’s Light. 1 Corinthians 3:5-8.

Merry Christmas! The angel was filled with joy to pronounce the birth of Christ to the shepherds. Right after that a whole host of angels started praising God for His Good News to mankind! This joyful event over 2000 years ago has now spread throughout the whole world! May the Good News fill your homes today with tidings of great joy!
