Welcome to Blast from the Past📣

Today we’re diving into one of Breckenridge’s quirkiest legends. Meet Father John Lewis Dyer, the ‘Skiing Preacher’ who took on Colorado’s toughest winters armed with nothing but homemade wooden skis, a heavy sack of mail, and the Good Word✝️ for whoever’s listen. Word has it, he once skied over Mosquito Pass in a blizzard that would’ve sent most folks running, all just to make sure Breck got its weekly dose of faith and news🏔️

They don’t make em’ like Father Dyer anymore, but he sure left his mark on Breck’s history. Stick around every week for more mountain lore, and get ready to see Breck like never before.
