Is pressure canning worth the time and effort?

If you are an active gardener, it absolutely is!

I pressure can beans, veggie broth, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, applesauce, and fruit preserves. You can pressure can green beans, okra, asparagus, corn, peppers, soups, and so many other fruits and vegetables!

Preparedness can be robust. It is not just having a bunker on your property. It can look like many different things. You need to decide for yourself what you and your family need to stay safe in an emergency, whether personal, national, local, or natural.

You can have a plan in place for evacuation. You can have a well stocked pantry, a go bag, a generator, solar panels, or insert anything else that can help with an emergency. But what do you do if your plans don't go the way you want them to? What if nature throws you a curve ball?
