This year we have to do things a little differently. First- this is a fundraiser for St. James the Apostle Parish and School, which was forced to cancel its annual summer Feast of St. James due to COVID-19 restrictions. That was a major hit to our parish's finances, and we're going to donate proceeds from Oktoberfest to help them out. IT'S A WIN-WIN FOR YOU- you get out of the house and back into the world carefully following NY state guidelines and have a laugh with friends and strangers finally after so many dark days. You also help the church help those in need and keep the doors open. Next- to comply with the restrictions and to give everyone MORE than enough room, we're serving dinner in four 2-hour seatings to a maximum of 50 guests in our dining room. The seatings are from Noon to 2 p.m., 2 to 4 p.m., 4 to 6 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m.You must purchase tickets in advance for a seating. There are no walk-ins or sales at the door. One was accepted into the USMC, while the other is currently working in his chosen field as an Auto Mechanic. Denise also coordinates a variety of extracurricular activities for Homeschoolers including Archery, Nerf, Adventure Training & Survival.
