As we experience the fluctuation of weather from warm Spring-like days to chilly ones that remind us of this past winter, we need to remind ourselves that soon it will be May. Watching the trees begin to blossom and the early- blooming flowers struggle to keep warm, I am reminded that I need to keep my eyes on my goals even when it’s hard to tell what season it is. :-) If your goal is to prepare to take an SAT exam before this school year ends, then please give us a call. Our final SAT prep sessions for this school-year will begin on Tuesday, April 27 or Thursday, April 29, and they will end just before the June 5 SAT. Our techniques will help you succeed on this College Board test as well as on your AP exams, so that you will be able to make it through this season just like the trees and flowers. For information about this SAT test preparation session, contact us at 834-582-0017 or [email protected].

Over the holiday weekend, I received this beautiful bouquet of roses. As the flowers aged, petals fell on the counter. When this started to happen, I took a photo to help me remember the beauty of the gift, long after the flowers wilted and were thrown away. You may be wondering, how does this relate to applying to college? If the rose represents you, don’t just look at the entire rose, appreciate how each petal contributes to the beauty of the flower. The petals in the rose can represent the many experiences you have in life. So when you write, the main essay on your college application, pick one of the “petals” of your life and use it as the focus of your essay. If you are having trouble remembering details about that petal, find a photo to help you jog your memory. With a little bit of effort, you will have a truly eye-catching essay. For information about SAT and ACT test preparation and applying to college, contact us at 834-582-0017 or [email protected].
Does anyone know where deputies Ronald Yeager, Ryan Diskin, Vincent Dalo, Investigator Daniel Hunsberger, or sergeant William Quick were on July 8th, 2019? They're being investigated for police brutality. (For what it's worth, there seems to be exonerating evidence. Per the county Sheriff: "We strenuously deny the allegations and there's video from the responding officers patrol car that contradicts Taranto's claims, but because of the pending civil litigation and the pending criminal case against Mr. Taranto we are unable to comment further.")
The other day, I discovered this one room cabin in the woods nestled by a pond. No one had used it for years, and it was filled with dust, dirt, and cobwebs. As I paused from my walk, I couldn’t help but think about the person who once might have used this place. I wondered about their experiences. Although right now, you may not be writing your college application essays, it is a wonderful time to gather topics like my experience with the cabin. Perhaps you have noticed something about yourself, someone else, or something that made you wonder that ordinarily might not seem important. Here at EA Test Prep, we want to remind students to create a list of those ideas because they will be helpful when you apply to the colleges of your choice. For information about applying to college, contact us at 834-582-0017 or [email protected].

Are you just a stone’s throw away from starting the college application process, or do you feel as though you are being rushed and bumping into those stones? In either case, don’t forget to use the EA Test Prep team to help you experience a stress-free college application process. Next week, we will begin our six-week session to prepare for the May SAT. We are opening new zoom classes with a maximum of six students due to the high demand. Remember it is better to take the May SAT rather than the June exam because after the AP exams, students are envisioning summer vacation. We totally understand the feeling and want to help. Just give us a call at 834-582-0017 or write to us at [email protected].
