Not easy to play captain, fisherman and photographer all at the same time, especially when your subject likes to dart around in circles and dive boat side, but I managed one half way decent shot I think.

Sometimes you just need that easy solo, kid free, boat free, nothing but a bucket with lead, hooks and leader kinda day. Nice to pack light and catch a handful of fish at the secret spot 😅 Didn't even break off a single thing and even found a few sinkers in the rocks.

Rarely fluke fish, so it was nice to find a few over 20" and some real quality sea bass in super close and shallow this time year.
