This will be my last week of teaching for Phillis Wheatley Elementary School (Woodbridge School District) and the State of Delaware as I will be finally retiring. Friday, October 31st will be my last day with 31 years of service in the field of education.
I can’t honestly say that I’ve enjoyed every year but the last 4 at Phillis Wheatley Elementary School in Bridgeville were the most rememberable. Teaching young minds about the everyday use of computers and what skills are needed has been the most rewarding to me. The staff, unbelievable, and their love for teaching and their students, the same. Administrators are amazing as they worked with me the last few years I had to be out for tending to my wife and her needs.
Of course, all of what I've been able to accomplish has not been without the support of my loving family.
I will be keeping myself busy as my wife needs a kidney transplant and most recently started dialysis at home. She needs a live donor so I will be pursuing every way I can to help her achieve that. For more information, please visit my website, www.mrpepper.com, for more information.
