Bristol Rotary Club is Announcing the second year of the “Dinner for 2 Anywhere in the World for $25” Fundraiser
The Rotary Club of Bristol, Rhode Island, is excited to announce the second year of its fundraiser, the “Dinner for 2 Anywhere in the World” sweepstakes.
The “Dinner for 2 Anywhere in the World” fundraiser presents a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for the lucky winner to enjoy a dinner for two at their dream destination, valued at $10,000. The prize includes round-trip airfare, hotel accommodations, and dinner reservations at a restaurant of the winner’s choice, all arranged through AtlantiVacations. All proceeds from the fundraiser will directly support The Women’s Resource Center and School-based Family Services. The Women’s Resource Center is well known for its help to survivors of domestic violence. Bristol HEZ School-based Family Services has offices in both the Kickemuit Middle School and Mt. Hope High School to help students and families’ basic needs including lunches, clothing, hygiene products, food insecurities at home, psychological issues, health products and much more.

The drawing for the winning ticket will take place on Monday, November 17, 2025, at the Bristol Yacht Club. All are welcome to attend this exciting event. Last year, the sweepstakes raised $19,500, to which Bristol Rotary donated another $10,000 for a total of $29,500. $14,750 each was donated to Friends of St. Elizabeth Food Pantry and the East Bay Food Pantry and Thrift Shop. Over 1,300 people participated, and on November 17, 2024, the winner was selected from a drum containing the names of all the participants.
Last year, the winner was Linda Medeiros from Portsmouth, RI. They also included their daughter, Kayla, for which Linda, at an added expense, stretched out the trip to a 10-day family vacation in Italy. Linda’s quote about the trip is below:
