Historic Reparations in Jamaica ✊🏾🇯🇲🇯🇲

The Jamaican government has officially transferred land to the Rastafari community as part of a long-overdue act of reparation and healing.

Two plots in Albion, St James, have been handed over in response to the 1963 Coral Gardens Massacre, where hundreds of Rastas were attacked and detained during a brutal state crackdown.

At the ceremony, Minister Olivia Grange said:
“Today marks a significant milestone in our nation’s journey towards healing and reconciliation.”
