I BROUGHT MY HUSBAND A SURPRISE DINNER AT WORK AND FOUND OUT HE HAD BEEN DISMISSED FOR THREE MONTHS - WHAT HE DID ALL THIS TIME LEFT ME IN SHOCK
My husband and I have been together for 20 years, and we have four kids. For the past few weeks, he had been staying out late often, claiming he was working extra hours.
One day, I decided to support him. I packed him dinner and went to his office. Imagine my shock when they told me he hadn't been there for over three months, since he was laid off. I felt incredibly surprised and humiliated.

Every day, my elderly neighbor, Mrs. Madison, who's pushing 80, would arrive and leave at the same time as meβ€”or so I thought. But then I noticed something strange: she never actually leaves her car. Curiosity got the best of me, so I walked over and saw her bundled up in a blanket, sleeping in the front seat. The back was packed with boxes of groceries.
It didn't make senseβ€”she had a big house, so why was she living out of her car? One freezing night, I couldn't ignore it anymore. DELIVERY GUY LEFT A MESSAGE FOR ME ON A PIZZA BOX β€” TURNS OUT HE SAVED ME FROM A DISASTROUS MARRIAGE.
My fiancΓ© and I have been living together for a while now, and on lazy days, we would often order pizza from the local place. Since it's a small business, the delivery guy was always the same.
Yesterday, I ordered just one box for myself since my fiancΓ© was out of town. The delivery guy seemed nervous and asked if my fiancΓ© was home. I said no. As he left, I opened the box and felt my heart drop.

WOMAN RUINED 8-HOUR FLIGHT FOR ALL PASSENGERS – AFTER THE FLIGHT, THE CAPTAIN DECIDED TO PUT HER IN HER PLACE HIMSELF.
It was a long flight after my swimming competition, and I had only one wish β€” to put a mask over my eyes and fall asleep. Right? Nope!
Ever since we took off, I knew I'd have issues with the lady on my left (aisle seat).
She was ringing the flight attendant button like there was a fire in our aisle and complaining non-stop about how both of us (the girl in the window seat and I) should be moved because we had "taken her place."
Then, aisle Karen stood up and demanded that someone switch seats with her because "it's not fair she has to sit with two fat people" (I'm just tall) when she paid the same amount for her seat as we did for ours, and we were apparently "taking over" hers. That didn't work for her, so she spent the whole flight kicking my arm and leg while I prayed for it to end faster.

"Please, I beg of you. I don't have anybody, and this house is my only treasured memory," old Joe begged Elliot. "I have nowhere to go. Please don't make me homeless."
But Elliot turned a deaf ear to the poor old man's pleas. "Look here, old man. I'm tearing this thing down in two weeks. ALL YOU'VE GOT TO DO IS TO PACK YOUR STUFF!" he said, driving past the dusty house in ruins.
