So often, waiting feels like sitting still. Like nothing is happening. Like you’ve been overlooked or forgotten. But in God’s economy, our waiting is never wasted.

If you’re in a season of waiting, God is not delaying to punish you. His seeming delay is often preparation. He sees the entirety of your life from the perspective of eternity. ❤️

This is why I write books. ❤️⬇️

Tonight I had the honor of saying hi + praying for a mentorship group is leading through You’re Not Too Late. It was so sweet to hear how God is speaking to them and meeting them in their seasons of longing and waiting.

As an author, you can often wonder if + how God is using your words in readers’ lives. As I say in Do the Thing, “The outcome is his. The obedience is ours.” BUT…it is a GIFT when he allows a peek behind the veil at what he is doing.

Thank you to those of you who are reading You’re Not Too Late, sharing it with friends, and leading small groups + bible studies + book clubs to go through it. I wish we could all be friends IRL…but I will always jump on a Zoom to say hey! 😉❤️
