A lot of kids who get called “difficult” are really just hurting.

And how we respond as parents can be the difference between isolation and connection.

Think about it: kids who seem the hardest to love are often the ones who need it the most.

Research shows many children who harm themselves aren’t trying to end their life, they’re trying to release pain they don’t know how to carry. And since the frontal lobe isn’t fully developed until the mid-20s, our kids don’t yet have all the tools to process those big emotions.

That’s why listening matters so much. Not to fix. Not to argue. Just to understand. When a child feels seen and safe, everything shifts.

Now imagine a world where disconnection, the world’s biggest challenge, becomes our biggest opportunity: real community powered by technology. That’s the vision behind Flow Together.

Welcome to my page! I am so glad that you decided to join me on the journey. Here is a little snap shot of my story.

For most of my life I followed the path that was expected and when I decided to get off the course I would deal with so much anxiety and depression. I wanted to please everyone and make my loved ones proud. Little did I know I was taking myself down a slippery slope of lost identity and lack of effectiveness.

After years of people pleasing I realized that my number one goal had to be to please God. If I did not operate in obedience I would never feel whole.

On an extraordinary Sunday morning in September 2016, God told me while in worship that it was time for a shift in my career. I had been a teacher for over 8 years at this point with small businesses on the side. Unfortunately, I was still concerned about what people would think if I took the leap and quit my job. So I didn’t move.
