Welcome to my page! I am so glad that you decided to join me on the journey. Here is a little snap shot of my story.
For most of my life I followed the path that was expected and when I decided to get off the course I would deal with so much anxiety and depression. I wanted to please everyone and make my loved ones proud. Little did I know I was taking myself down a slippery slope of lost identity and lack of effectiveness.
After years of people pleasing I realized that my number one goal had to be to please God. If I did not operate in obedience I would never feel whole.
On an extraordinary Sunday morning in September 2016, God told me while in worship that it was time for a shift in my career. I had been a teacher for over 8 years at this point with small businesses on the side. Unfortunately, I was still concerned about what people would think if I took the leap and quit my job. So I didn’t move.
That was one of the worst decisions I could have made, because I became super uncomfortable and unhappy with the day to do of my 9-5.
So much so that I was eventually laid off in March 2018, almost 2 years later.
I new that this was my chance to step out on FAITH and be OBEDIENT. So after a conversation with my husband we agreed that I would not return to the classroom or any other job. I began my journey of full-time entrepreneurship.
I have learned so many lessons along this journey. The first being that I can do it all, but not all at once. So many business owners suffer from burn out, anxiety, overwhelm and lack of productivity because they have bought into the concept of Work Life Balance.
What I know for sure is that when you try to balance it all, you are bound to drop something.
I realized that life as a whole had to FLOW. So after research, trial and error and amazing God given downloads, I created the Godflow Method, that shifts leaders from a place of overwhelm and frustration to a flow or productivity and profit.
