Excited to share that about a year ago The Black TV & Film Collective, @browngirlsdocmafia, @hueyouknow_, @cinereach, @staygoldfeatures, @thedofmp came together with a collective goal of developing a tool that would make it easier for producers and those working in the industry to expand their networks and hire more BIPOC crew, as part of our collective efforts to create a far more diverse, equitable and inclusive industry! Together we created and launched a website to help showcase several BIPOC led-organizations, databases and other resources, which is now live at: www.diversify.film. Very happy to be a part of this effort!! #equityandinclusion #hollywoodbydesign #intentionalhiring

Today we’re highlighting Danielle Mooney and Patrice Bowman, the co-producer and colorist for the project #IWonTheLottery, a short film a part of our #BlackProducerFellowship 💯
Danielle is a black q***r femme storyteller and emerging filmmaker originating from the home of Go-Go, Mumbo Sauce, and the original HU. She studied film production at BRIC and has worked on features, short films, and web series.
Patrice is an award-winning filmmaker, editor, and colorist. She’s a Yale grad and founded the production company @bowman_pictures. Her shorts have screened at many film festivals, including the Academy Award-qualifying Reel Sisters of the Diaspora Film Festival & Lecture Series.
